Q: Where can I buy the electric cord for the Worx TriVac? I went to Home Depot and Lowe's, and they did not have any. When I bought the Worx TriVac by phone, I asked if the long electric cord came with it, and I was told that it did. It did not so you need to send me the long electric cord that fits the short one in the Trivac.

A: Frances - this model does not require any sort of "special" cord. You can use any standard 14-gauge outdoor extension cord to power this model.

The WORX WG500 electric leaf blower brings three functions together in one compact, lightweight machine: a great blower; a handy mulcher; and a powerful yard vac.
The WORX WG500 has the versatility to change jobs with just the flip of a switch. There are no tubes to switch between tasks, so you can blow away debris at 210 mph, then easily change to vacuuming dry leaves at up to 14 gallons per minute. The angled nose makes it easy to clear low areas and to reach under decks and furniture.
The WORX WG500 has a powerful 12 amp electric motor. The electric motor runs at about 70 decibels, which is surprisingly quiet. Bag Defective
I was excited to vacuum the leaves from my lawn and was doing nicely until I looked down and noticed that all the leaf bits were coming out of the bag because the zipper was defective. The manufacturer told me that the bag is an accessory and is not covered by the warranty, but they would like to sell me another bag (probably same defect). I have since learned that many others have complained about the same problem. I am disappointed with the product and suggest you not waste your money like I did.

Leaf Blower And Mulcher
I can no longer rake and bag leaves due to my back condition. I saw this tool advertised on an infomercial and knew I had to have it. It works wonderful to gather and mulch the leaves. The only problem I have is with emptying the bag. My hands are small and it is difficult for me to detach the bag. I have to unzip it and dump it. Otherwise it is great. Really beats raking and bagging leaves.

Not A Great Blower
After 2 uses the bag was ripping from the straps. It has a plastic mulcher which easily got damaged with a small piece of wood, and it is not powerful enough.
You will spend a lot of time trying to blow leaves together. It is difficult to unhook the bag from the unit.
